Mmmm. So I dressed up and went trick-or-treating tonight .... or, I tried to. It was freezing, and Melissa was screaming, so I just came home and sulked for awhile. I'll stay home tomorrow because of mom's surgery...
What ever happened to being a child? To getting loads of candy and sitting on the floor putting it in piles, by what I like and what I don't? What happened to my parents taking me out and us laughing and having fun? What happened to all of this being a huge deal, and my parents understanding that?
I wish I could have gotten someone to go with me. I wish that none of us had to grow up like this.
