Confusion

It's as if confusion has trickled through my bloodstream like poison, a wish for the travesty of humanity to grasp me in its clutches and shake sense into me, all of the pain and agony falling to the ground as I lay limply in taloned hands, a world that I cannot recognize anymore. Everywhere I turn lies fear and questions, a false fate, not knowing what to do anymore, one lie after another until I cannot remember what the truth is, I cannot remember when I could lay in bed at night and not want to explode into an expression of beauty across the sky, blood and starlight mixing into such a tapestry of rapture and pain that even the heavens know where my heart lies.

Because I just don't know.
