Every single cell possessed by such rage and terror that storms echo across the ocean as if it will never stop. Every single wave crashing upon jagged rocks that pierce the night sky, a delicately deep blue that demands your soul be given to the pearlescent moon. Every single moment too precious and too serene until the future and the past slam into the ice-possessed waters, black and desperate as it finally catches up to me, and there is nowhere left to run. Every single drop of water reminds me that there are no lifeguards with magical hope, there are no signs of civilization in the midst of insanity. Hurricanes and seastorms will sweep my mind to the side, lost in a swirl of drenching salty sea, lost to time, and lost to me.
